What the MeWatch Parent App Does: A Complete Walkthrough

Live GPS, safe zones, class mode, approved contacts, SOS, and more — everything the free MeWatch parent app does, and why it’s free for life.

What the MeWatch Parent App Does: A Complete Walkthrough

Every MeWatch device is managed from one place: the free MeWatch parent app on your phone. It's where you see your child's location, decide who can call them, and step in if something's wrong — all without hovering. Here's everything it does.

See where your child is — in real time

Live GPS shows your child's location accurate to a few meters, with route history for the last 30 days. Safe zones (geofences) let you draw a circle around school, home, or grandma's — and get an alert the moment your child arrives or leaves.

Decide who can reach your child

With approved contacts, only the people you add can call the device. Calls from unknown numbers are blocked automatically — no spam, no strangers. Your child can send you voice messages instead of typing, and you reply from your phone.

Protect their school day

Class mode silences every function during school hours — except the clock and emergency calls — and turns itself on automatically on the schedule you set. Smart scheduling does the same for sleep, homework, and free time.

Be ready for emergencies

A long press on the SOS button sends an instant alert — with exact location — to every parent on the account. On the L12 Prime, you can also activate the microphone or camera remotely, for emergencies only.

No surprises

Battery alerts warn you before the device powers off, so you're never caught off guard in the middle of the day.

How much does the app cost?

Nothing. The MeWatch parent app is free for life — no subscription, no paid upgrades, and every parent in the family can have it. The only thing you pay for is the connectivity plan.
