Set up your MeWatch in about 10 minutes
From activating your plan to seeing your child on the map — five simple steps, done once.

Step 1
Activate your plan
The SIM is already inside the device — it just needs switching on once. Pick the plan that fits your family and activate it. You’ll get an email the moment your line is live (a few minutes to a few hours).

Step 2
Restart the device
When the activation email arrives, turn the device fully off, wait about ten seconds, and turn it back on. This lets it join the network for the first time.
⚠️ Still seeing “No SIM”?
If the device still shows “No SIM” ten minutes after activation, the SIM may be faulty — and we’ll replace it free. Contact support

Step 3
Download the parent app
You’ll control everything from your own phone with the free MeWatch parent app. Search “YQT Smart” in your app store and install it.

Step 4
Create your account & pair
Open the app, create a parent account, choose your region, and follow the steps to pair the device.
📍 Important: choose “Asia”
When the app asks for a region, pick the one printed on your quick-start card — for MeWatch devices it’s Asia. It’s set by the device hardware, not your location, so it’s correct in the U.S. too.
📡 Pair only after your plan is active and the device is connected to the cellular network — not over Wi-Fi. Pairing too early will fail.

Step 5
Check that it works
Open the app, confirm you can see the device’s location on the map, then make a quick test call. That’s it — your child is connected and you’re in control.
