Activate the Included SpeedTalk SIM

Every MeWatch device ships with a SpeedTalk SIM included. You activate it yourself, online, in just a few minutes — directly with SpeedTalk, on the nationwide T-Mobile 4G LTE network. Follow the steps in order.

MeWatch monthly plans are coming soon. Today, the included SpeedTalk SIM is activated — and its low-cost prepaid plan purchased — directly with SpeedTalk.

    Step 1

    Find the 19-digit SIM number

    The SIM number (sometimes called the ICCID) is 19 digits long and is printed on the SIM card itself or on the packaging it came in.

    • Check the SIM card holder that came in the box — the number is printed on it.
    • If the SIM is already inside the device, the number is on the SIM packaging.
    • Keep the number handy — you’ll enter it in the activation form in the next step.

    Step 2

    Activate online, directly with SpeedTalk

    Open SpeedTalk’s activation page, enter the 19-digit SIM number, and choose the low-cost prepaid plan that fits your family. You purchase the plan directly from SpeedTalk, and the line usually goes live within minutes. SpeedTalk runs on the nationwide T-Mobile 4G LTE network.

    ⚠️ The device can’t be paired with the parent app until the SIM activation is complete.

    Step 3

    Line active? Power the device off and on

    Once your line is active, power the device fully off, wait about 10 seconds, and power it back on. Only after this restart does the device actually register on the cellular network.

Where do I find the 19-digit SIM number?+

It’s printed on the SIM card itself or on the SIM’s packaging inside the box. It’s sometimes called the ICCID.

Do I buy the plan from MeWatch?+

Not yet. Today you choose a low-cost prepaid plan directly with SpeedTalk during activation. MeWatch monthly plans are coming soon.

What network does the SIM use?+

The included SpeedTalk SIM runs on the nationwide T-Mobile 4G LTE network across the United States.
